Enterprise Sales Director

MayStreet Inc. has immediate openings for an Enterprise Sales Director in New York, NY. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic problem-solvers with expertise in capital markets data to join us as we continue providing technology innovation and support to the world’s leading global capital markets companies. 

In this role, you will be part of a growing, talented team that is tasked with presenting MayStreet’s solutions to the financial services industry.

What you’ll do

  • The Enterprise Sales Director will be tasked with driving company revenue and promoting MayStreet’s software and data solutions to Tier 1 banks, hedge funds and proprietary trading firms. Develop and maintain prospect pipeline with accurate qualification and documentation 
  • Present to key decision makers, develop relationships, and manage sales process from initial prospecting through contract negotiations, and closing, including detailed documentation of client profile, SOW, and order forms  
  • Work strategically with stakeholders, interdepartmental resources, and employ a consultative approach to win RFPs and RFIs
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to help foster a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • You will be expected to carry a sales quota including MRR targets, # of weekly prospecting calls, # of weekly sales meetings, in addition to supporting new sales discovery for existing accounts

Work qualifications

  • Must be a self-starter with at least 5+ years of Enterprise Market Data Sales experience, with proven success in a quota carrying new logo enterprise role
  • Excellent, established contacts within market data groups at Tier 1 banks, broker-dealer, hedge funds, and proprietary trading firms.
  • Significant track record of successful enterprise market data deals from prospect through closing 
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and ability to quickly become an SME on MayStreet’s unique platform and capabilities
  • Ability to manage a technically complex sales process involving a multitude of stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of market data as well as data access methodologies, including general API terminologies and functions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with both software developers and customer operations staff
  • Bachelor's degree required
